Was wondering if 5.2 v8 engine is compatible with
my jeep... if not ..what is... thanks

Depends on which engine you have now. Trust me..... if you are wanting to change to a different cubic inch engine just sell your vehicle and find the one that has the engine you want. Most of the 2000 models had the 4.7 engine if it was a V8. Prior to that the transmissions were different for the 5.2. The 5.2 had the 44RE for the V8. The 2000 probably has the 45RFE. Again totally different animals when it comes to transmissions.
