. 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4.0 runs hot

Okay I have a 2000 Jeep Grand
Cherokee Laredo with a 4.0 engine
when I'm driving the needle stays at
2:10 that is the temperature needle
let's say I parked the car for 10
minutes I go back and start it and the
needle is now at 2 30 I took it to the
mechanic they change the temperature
sensor thermostat thermostat housing
and now they want me to change the
water pump help!!!

No it just run's at 210 all the time. Should I have the radiator flushed? Before getting the water pump installed?
