Coolent levels dropping in 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.0, no visable leaks, sweet smell when running A/C or Heater

I have a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee with 180,000 miles on it. I am constantly having to add coolant, at least once a week. There are no visible leaks but I am noticing a sweet smell when running my A/C or Heater. No wet carpet on passenger side, could it still be the heater core? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Could be the heater core or coolant could be going out the exhaust due to aa head gasket or cylinder head issue. Bad heater core will many times cause the passenger carpet or floor to be wet.
Unless the heater core leaking is slow enough that the condensation drain is able drain it all and keep it out of the cabin. Most of the coolant loss would then occur on the road so you wouldn't see any appreciable amount puddling under the vehicle. You can do a pressure test on the heater core to determine if it in fact leaking.

I did notice a slight drip coming from a small open hose that sticks out of the firewall on the passenger side.Is this condensation drain you mentioned KenF?
