No. The 5.9 was available in the 1992-1998 Jeep Grand Cherokees, but was replaced in 1999 with the 4.7 liter V8. But I know what you are thinking. The 5.9 engine was in the Special Orvis Edition and it was termed "the fastest production SUV" available at the time. Check it out on You Tube. It absolutely screamed!!
Can I put a Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4.0 4x4 straight 6 engine into a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.7 4x4? Or any Jeep Cherokee 4.7 of that year?
