cooling fan

Asked by Steve4X Mar 17, 2010 at 08:36 PM about the 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Cooling fan runs constant only way to turn it off is to unplug. Could this be the fan relay or is there something else I should be looking at?

it can be the relay, but what i have noticed with problems like these its usually the temp sensor has gone out, or is bad. so i would say check that out.

My 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo fan sometimes comes on and sometimes it doesn't. When the fan isn't running the car runs hot. What could be the reason why the fan doesn't consistently run all the time? Please help..
