A few functions on my Jeep have just stopped out of the blue

Asked by Bear Oct 03, 2018 at 11:35 AM about the 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The cruise control, air conditioning, turn indicators, and
reverse indicators on my Jeep have all just quit working at
the same time. According to the internet, it's a blown fuse,
but they don't say which one specifically, and I can't really
confirm that it is a fuse.

Just a wild guess the engine computer had a temporary seizure. But before disconnecting the battery to reset things, scan for fault codes. Without starting the engine, turn the ignition key from Off to On three time quickly. Stop at "On" and the codes will display at the odometer in sequence. When it's done, it will display "done". Google your fault codes.
