Vacuum line from front differential

I found a vacuum line attached to my
front differential hanging. Where is
sourve for other end? Eng size 5.9L. I tied
it up for now (see picture). Thank you,

Are you sure it's a actual vacuum line or could it be the vent hose? Diffs have vents to release the pressure that builds up inside them while in use. If you're 4WD still works then it's probably a vent, if it's not working then it goes to a vacuum actuator for the 4WD system
