Would the Toque Converter Clutch Soilnold which can cause hard shifts in a automatic trany, also cause O2 sensor faults?
The reason why I ask, {I have a1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4X4 with inline 6, auto trany}. After changing the cat, mufler and both O2s, truck ran good up till about a month and a half ago. About then it started doing a hard shift between first and second gear. Then it got a starvation jurk at about the same rpm, about a month ago. But once it shifted into second the truck would take off like a bat out of hell. First thought it was a lack of fuel for some reason, so tried letting off the gas and repressing it down but seem to make it jerk more. So went the other way, removed the air filter, no change. Checked plugs, cap & rotor all fair condition. one thing I have noticed is after driving for more then twenty minutes it shifts ok. Before you ask oil level in trany good and clear-red, not burnt. Any ideas you want to throw my way will be greatly appreciated.

Found what seems to have been the problem. In the wire harness which goes down firewall on passenger side, there is a ground wire that goes to the O2 sensors, it had broke off. Repaired it now runs good and no codes
