1998 jeep grand cherokee engine swap

I have a 1998 jeep grand cherokee laredo with a 4.0L v6 engine would a nissan
xterra 3.3L v6 work is so what should i be worried about? how would i do the
transmission and drive train? i would like to make it 4wd, since its a jeep.

Even if it fits the Jeep, the Jeep computer would never run it. Call the salvage yard looking for Jeep 4.0 liter sixes from 1992- 1998. The 1998 is your best bet for compatibility. And the Jeep is an inline six not a V6.
