Jeep won't start

Asked by GuruWTW8G Apr 24, 2018 at 08:36 PM about the 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4WD

Hi my Jeep won't start. The lights, gauges, radio
etc work. I replaced the alternator. There is no
clicking when I try to start it. I was able to get it to
start by jumping the starter with a screw driver.
What do you think the issue is? Thanks
