I have a 97 grand cherokee. Went to start it nothing happens I replaced my starter stilll nothing. headlight kc light radio etc comes on but no start. Thinking ignition switch any ideas?

then take the starter off and get it bench tested it might have a loose winding or something

Even if I just bought it? Because that's what I thought the problem was. But I will do that bc I'm running out of options

if it is a reman it could be bad I HTH with my ford van alternator it was a reman and it didn't work
