1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo doorpin and bushing replacement

Asked by mrbunzey Feb 25, 2015 at 03:04 PM about the 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Original door pins appear to be non replaceable. Looks as though they would need to be cut off to replace the pins and bushings. Can the pins and bushings be replaced?

yes they can you can go to NAPA auto parts ..// part # NOE 6751594 $7.20...// contains one pin and two bushings ( you will need two kits per door) ..// you may be able to keep the door on and do one pin at a time ..// last one I did I had to remove the door but had other work to do to it and did not try doing one pin at a time...// good luck
