About 1994 jeep air conditioning problems. ATTN: Auto_Centric

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Thank you Auto_Centric for your response to my question about my air conditioner problem on my 1994 jeep. You responded back to me asking what my low end psi was and also my high end psi was. You said I cant diagnose the problem without these psi's. The only pressure guadge I have is the one that comes with a recharge kit from the parts store. Is that sufficient for the readings or do I need something else. Once again, my email is larrydhall1956@hotmail.com

Larry, I know I sound insulting, and I don't mean to be. I just know, from years of experience, one or more guys on this BASIC question site trash their AC systems because they try to fix (recharge) it without the equipment or knowledge to do it properly, and unfortunately, AC systems are NOT forgiving of a "close counts" type of repair. If your near Ann Arbor MI... I'd be happy to diagnose it for no cost. Regards
