Jack up rear axle, then turn the wheel on one side. The wheel on the other side will rotate the same direction if it is a trac-loc, and the opposite direction if it is an open differential. If you have Quadra-drive full time 4-wheel drive you may need to place the transfer case in neutral or raise all four wheels.
