wont start in gear

i have it in 4 all time like normal i shut it off in park. Then i try to start it back up and it wont start. I put it into N nd 4Lo and then it will start I dont know whats going on and i would really like to figure it out so i can go to work. If anyone knows please help!!

did you check your VIN# for recalls, there were some for the 93 and the parking pin breaking. go to a jeep website or talk to the jeep dealer they will be able to tell you if you have that recall.
