Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My Audi A6 2.7T is producing a faint amount of fuel vapors which enter the cabin from the dashboard's heating/AC ducts. This began shortly after torque converter was replaced. Audi mechanic unable to solve issue.

First check with another Audi mechanic to see if they can find the problem. If not, call national headquarters and find out name of the regional manager of your car. Then, write a letter explaining the problem and ask if they can get one of their experts to help. I did this once with a problem 3 local dealers couldn't solve and headquarters assigned people to follow the problem until it was properly resolved.
