96 Honda civic del sol turns but won't start.

About sick of civic threds. my 96 del
sol just wouldn't start one day while
it was raining figured somthing got
wet so let it dry and tryed again and
sounded like the starter was spinning
without turning the motor. then
found out the motor was turning.
changed timing belt skiped a tooth.
changed coil. has spark but doesn't
try to start unless i unplug fuel
injectors then it sputters. i cn hear
the pump. Any ideas?

Are you doing the work yourself? I would start with re-checking the timing belt- but the symptoms you described don't sound like a problem with the belt, initially- then you say it "skipped a tooth"- if you haven't been changing the belt, keeping up on maintenance, and now you have gone in to the engine and are unplugging things- it is now impossible to tell what is going on, from here- you may just want to cut your losses and take the car to a pro- get it running and quit wasting time, the car is worth it-
