Audis are common for ball joint issues, planed obsolesence and parts up sell is defineatly in their vocabulary. Lowwer ball joints or trailing arm bushings, also at the top of spring the ``spring hat" is a rubber or hard plastic if gone spring will squeek. Hope that helps.
