what could make the auto trans shudder intermitently and what is the typical cure

sometimes i feel a vibration under my seat.  it only happens like everyother day at speeds of 30mph on up.  its mostly a "shudder" and i can increase it or decrease by feathering the gas pedal/rpms.  already had drive shaft looked at, checked out ok.  had wheels balanced.  please help.  fabiola

could be something transmission related,or your cat converter is viberating at this speed.

Did you have the trans fluid changed lately? Could also be something like a wheel bearing vibrating.

Already found the solution? I have a simular problem with a a4 25tdi quattro tiptronic from 2002....
