Won't start

If I lock my Audi A4 convertible the next morning it
won't start . I was told it's the battery but it's not . I
had a new boot catch fitted and it's not that . Any
idea please ?

Is there 12 volts at the battery???? If so it's possible the starter is no good, will it start with a jump?????
