It depends on your definition of reliable. All cars have things that break down. Audi is a luxury brand and it is not known for an inexpensive maintenance history. Check out AudiWorld.com and Audizine.com to see what the owners are saying. They are both active Audi forums.

i had the car since 2008 with only 50,000km on it. it's now 125,000km and i have spent all together $10K on the car during these 4 years. replaced everything needed to be replaced and fixed. it's running in amazing condition right now.
