The secondary water pump. Located under the intake manifold. Look with a flashlight by the throttle body. You will see a pool of antifreeze collecting on the intake.

could be anywhere but if you look at the hoses coming out from the engine block at the top and going to the radiator these have the highest pressure in them and could leak. I once had a leak which was only detectable by touching the metal clamps on the hoses as it was behind one of them. I would advise you start from the reservoir and follow the entire system around. If you can't find the leak perhaps your water pump seal is gone.

2000 a6 water leaking from between rear of block and trans there are two holes that its leaking out of are there freeze plugs here or does my problem stem from further up?
