there were minor changes from 96 till the end of the 4.3. It will fit, but there are a couple sensors (cant think of them) that changed in size after 99, there are ways around this but it's doable. Now the 97 uses the older spider injectors with only 1 injector, after 99 they used 6 individual injectors. The 6 individual is a better system and if you can use yours.
