Please help

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I changed my thermostat my water pump my temp
sensor and a new radiator cap and it still say
engine overheated and coolant hot what's the deal

^^just what he said ^^^ make sure fans are running and might check for hairline cracks in hoses.. Also make sure your thermostat is opening up all the way

How quickly after starting the vehicle does it get hot? Are you sure it is actually getting hot? Has it been consuming coolant? How many miles on this vehicle?
