I am desperately looking for the engine number on my 2005 Audi A6 4.2L V8 engine. Where is it located?

go to your trunk and lift the spare tire flap and it should be on the right side of the spare tire wheel well.

Every audi engine have a staker u can see on staker bro on top of engine
