I have no codes but idles rough and stalls out 2003

This started out mild and gets worse over time

Stalls mainly when coming to a stop? I would suspect a dirty/faulty idle air control valve.

Is yours the 4.6L? I believe on yours it's on the right front of the throttle body if you looking at your engine. It has two small screws holding it in place.

It's a 5.3 and you are describing the regular cable excelerator mine is the morthadike electric servo operated excelerTor. I'm wondering if the iac is part of this unit. Only one wire harness feeds this throttle body unit.

Yours on the left hand side with a wire harness with about six wires in it? Looks kind of like two round items built together in a square box? If so it's in there. I not sure if that is serviceable without changing the whole throttle plate assembly. If I remember correctly that's all riveted together. Sorry I could not be of more help.
