Air Conditioning Fan

My 2003GMC has a 5 speed AC fan. The fan only works on the high speed. The slower speeds don't work at all. Does any body have any idea what the solution is to this problem would be?

On most vehicles there is a rheostat, or variable resistor that gives you all the lower fan speeds. Yours must be burned out or worked loose. I think that part is located in the dash in the A/C heat control center near the fan speed switch.
