Replaced steering column on 2000 GMC Sierra 4 wheel drive and will not turn over or start what could be my problem

I replace steering column on
2000 GMC Sierra 1500 series
Z71 and will not roll over or
crank what may be my problem

Insufficient information. However, my best guess with the limited information is that you inadvertently failed to reconnect a wire, probably a ground wire.... Do you have either a Haynes or Chilton's manual on you chevy?...... double check for missed wire connections...... If it isn't already too late.
