location of a transmission control module for a 1999gmc pickup

got 2 trans put in truck  same thing no 3&4 gears so had one rebuilt same thing put new
3 4 clutch pack  new 3&4 shift s. new valve body same thing no 3&4 gears so i pulled it
out again when put back in   it will be the 5th time  also a new down shift s.

The engine and tranny are controlled by the PCM under the hood on the drivers side.

found bad yellow wire on 4 pin connector going into computer on transaxle , you have to remove that drive shaft for hand clearance

Question my 99 Chevy Silverado has had 2 used trans out in...and the original rebuilt twice and now a remanufactured twice and it keeps busting sunshell...help!!!!!

My 1997 Chevy Silverado want shift into overdrive. And when u stop and go to take off its not shifting back down. U shut it off and restart it take off it will shift fine 1 2 3 gear no overdrive. Until u stop want down shift

i have a 98u 3500 changed transmission does same acts like it in drive wont shift all i got is reverse and a foward gear seems like it locked in second gear antyone got ideas
