I have a 97 gmc 1500 fu pump quit so we thought, installed new fu pump still didn't work. Have power to the relay but nothing to the pump any suggestions on where to find the power or lack of?

Check the wire harness from the relay to the fuel pump. Somewhere between the relay and the pump is a short circuit. BTW save the old fuel pump. It didn't go south.
