Knocking

My Sierra1500 gmc sle knocks when it
runs. No starting problems.  Lifters?

There is knocking and there is ticking. Ticking is usually related to lifters and the valve train, but knocking can be rod or main bearings or other serious issues. Check the oil as it may be low.
