How can you figure it would be any of those when the starter doesn't even turn the motor over?

I don't know what else it would be ...lights turn on so its getting power... Maybe the ignition switch? Idk I'm just trying to trouble shoot a lil before I take it to the mechanic ...also after the starter was replaced it started and ran fine then sat for a couple days and then I went to start it and nothin Ps I'm a female with minimal knowledge of this so I'd appreciate any help thanks :)

Ok, I think the motor will run then right? Its just that the starter is not turning the motor over? This sounds like some bad battery cables since you have a new battery, unless the alternator is not charging. Is there a light on, on the dash?

Yes motor is fine ...Yes lights on the dash turn on ...just clicks when I try to start it. The battery is fully charged 12.59 . So alternator should be good right? You still think it's the cables I should check?

Yep, you have a fully charged battery, new starter, alternator seems to be working, and you hear a click. At this point thats a good sign. The battery cables may have corrosion in there connectors. You can look and kinda peal back the insulation and look for green on the wires. Make sure all connections are clean and tight. Check the connections down on the frame, the motor, and too the body of the truck, that everything is clean.
