I have a 96 gmc sierra with the vortec 350 and the EMI-I fuse under the hood keeps blowin and the truck would die whats wrong

You have a short to ground somewhere in the circuit. get a bull and attach 2 wires to it and put it in place of the fuse. Then start to dissconcet components on that circuit. If the light goes out then the component you dissconceted is blowing the fuse and needs to be replaced.
