Slipping

Ok everytime i start to back up when i first start my
truck it feels like it locks up and makes me spin
and clunk around. But when its warmed up it
doesnt have a problem. Please help me know what
it is thank you. It does have 288000 miles

Might want to have a look at the level and the condition of the differential oil in the gearbox (s) Could be low and or have some serious sludge issues. With higher mileage vehicles it's not uncommon to have bearing problems as well. Good Luck!
