'94 GMC Sierra 1500, 5.7L. Turn the key and nothing happens. There is plenty of battery juice but the starter doesn't even click. Any suggestions?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

It groaned a bit when I started it yesterday to move it into the driveway. When I went out later The starter/solenoid doesn't even click, just a lot of nothing. The battery seems to be fine...lots of juice, everything electrical works. Would the starter cut out like this or should I be looking at the battery cable or something else?
