2002 dodge ram van no cruise control lite on start up

turn key to on position cluster lites up no cruise lite? press the cruise switch on still no
lite.. how do i know if switch is working?

Do you see the cruise light on when you are actually using the cruise? If you do when you are on cruise everything is fine. The cruise light is not normally a instrument light at start up. It comes on during operation to let you know the cruise is on and and set while you are driving.
