Location of brake light ground wire on 1998 dodge ram 3500 van

When my headlights are off , my brake lights work
fine, but when i turn them on and hit my brakes , all
my rear lights go out. i have changed the pedal
switch , and still the ssame thing. someone told me
that the ground wire might have some corrosion. ,
but i can't locate it. could someone please help.
