where is the starter located/

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

starter needs to be replaced

73,340

At the very back of the engine where the engine connects to the transmission. Bolts on to a mount and engages the flywheel to start the car. If you remember old metal coffee cans from decades ago, it's about that size. If that does not help. Follow the hot wire from the battery to its end.
