Hi a simple quick test is to locate the cam sensor and wires and give the wires a tug while the engine is running ...and see if it skips or stalls or get a water spray bottle and spray it ...what usually happens is the plastic cracks and lets moisture in and causes high resistance in the circuits....you will want to check power ( 5volt )and ground and the sensor sense wires
