Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Just bought my truck a month ago, put in new plugs, plug wires, new
throttle position sensor, and new computer, when driving it feels like it is
missing, read out says fuel to rich, i have some tape on my snorkel tube,
they tell me if i buy a new tube it would fix my problem but i can't see how
that is causing my problem, it isn't leaking any air, got any ideas?? Please
help me!! i can't afford taking it to a shop and paying big bucks to have it
looked at,  one shop charged me 105.00 for the read out, please help!!!
Thank you!

You can get the trouble code read at a local auto parts store for free. Do you remember what the trouble code was? If the snorkel tube has even a small air leak between the air flow meter and the throttle body the fuel mixture may be affected. Also it is possible that an O2 sensor is bad or something else.
