Completely disconnect the car battery - both terminals. Just disconnecting the ground terminal might not be enough. The battery might be fried. I ordered an odyssey battery for my Turbo lite because it doesn't have an alternator. They took the retro design too far because it's got a damn generator. The car batteries that most shops want to put into the vehicle are jump start batteries and it really needs a deep-cycle one.
