How old is the hose ? Could have been a weak spot in hose or could have been rubbing against a belt or part of the vehicle that just rubbed it until it broke or radiator cap could be faulty building up to much pressure in radiator causing hose to burst.
what would cause a radiator hose to blow off bottom radiator when it gets hot

when attempting to accelerate the car black smoke comes from the back end of the car and it doesn't won't to accelerate. Can you tell me what is causing this to happen? Could it be a bad motor?
