My girlfriend has a 2006 PT Cruiser it won't go through the motions of all gears it stays in first gear most of the time it won't go through the Autumn automatic gears it could be the solenoid or it could be the shifting bushing need to be replaced it's an automatic changing the transmission fluid and putting a new transmission filter would help for starters but it could be the transmission solenoid or solenoid needs to be checked and clean

Chris Rivas from San Antonio Texas my girlfriend has a 2006 PT Cruiser it's been having problems shifting into gears it could be the shifter solenoid needs to be replaced are the shifting bushing or it could be the transmission itself in the gears inside let's not hope not drain transmission fluid with new transmission fluid change out transmission filter needs to be replaced clean all cylinders Check all sensors and connections
