Is there a way to program a remote on my 2002 PT Cruiser without having a working remote?

I purchased a 2002 PT Cruiser through an auction but there were no remotes with the car. From my research, the car came with them. Is there a way to program them myself with no special tool? Everything that I have looked up says I have to take it to the dealership or have a qualified locksmith program one.

I tried this and it doesn't work. You have to have one remote that is working to get things to program. The answer is a scam.

I put a motor out of a2002 in a 2004 are they going to work with the harness
