When engine is cool, remove radiator cap and start the car. Watch the fluid in the radiator. After a while you should see it circulate. If the car gets to operating temp and it doesn't circulate, the water pump isn't working. Your car should also overheat.

I also belive it to the water pump as the thermostat has been removed. I want to thank you all for your answers and suggestions.
