overheating and bubbling

Asked by Zola Mar 07, 2017 at 09:40 AM about the 2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser Limited Wagon FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a brand new radiator cap, brand new cooling
fan, and all my fluids were flushed about 3 months
ago yet my car is doing this again. It has oil. I'm not
sure about coolant. What else could cause this to
happen?

You may have a bad head gasket, or the thermostat needs replacing. Best check the coolant level.
