Asked by jimbarletta Sep 17, 2015 at 11:38 AM about the 2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser Limited Wagon FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have changed the coolant every 5 years, last time in Fall 2010.  Should I change the coolant again this Fall and if so with what type and how should I do it.

Yes I would change it, some other people will say no, Chrysler recommends using HOAT (Hybrid Organic Acid Technology) formula...2001 to 2002 Chrysler PT Cruiser: 7.2 qt (7 liters). I would flush the system with a good flush....
