2001 P-T Cruiser A/C not blowing cold . High side pressure line is cool , low side line not cool .

Pressure seems about the same in liquid line and low side line , but at the hot gas port on
compressor the pressure go up to 400 lbs. and then the compressor shuts off.

Low on freon the compressor clutch will click on and off because the high / low switch is sensing that there is not enough freon in system. Add freon until clutch stops clicking on and off and stays on.
