Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I just bought a 2001 pt cruiser and its giving me hell. The oil
pressure light is on and I noticed dark colored oil puddle under
the front of the car. Today when I drove the car I hurd it
making a ticking noise as I would accelerate. What could the
problem be? The car has 115560 miles on it. Is it costly to fix?
Is the car worth it.

you are low on oil becasue you have an oil leak. Have someone find the leak and seal it up. Dont drive it while low on oil, listen to the low oil light. Low oil = damaging the engine. The ticking noise is your lifters not getting the oil they need to function

i dont understand the question. If you have a leak then oilis leaking out of the engine and your oil will get low at some point and you need to ad some. Your oil should be changed every 5,000 miles or so, it has nothing to do with leaks.
