car dies while driving

the car will die while driving and will restart and drive a bit further before dying it dies while at a stop i
got it to do this again while parked in the driveway i started it and let it warm up some and discovered
if you give it some throttle for a few seconds or a little longer and let it go back to idle it dies if you go
to restart it will if you give it some gas and then idle until throttle is applied again then on returning to
idle it will die

i would think that a vacuum leak would cause this to be happening all the time not intermittent like this problem is

well I had the crank and cam shaft do this also I replaced the fuel pump did no work I could drive a little bit and then died once replaced no problems

I have a 94 Chrysler labaran i replaced distributer unit it shuts off when i let off the gass
